Sho-Link Las Vegas has been on the fast track to start the new year. CES, World of Concrete, Shot Show and Magic are just a few in an amazing amount of shows to hit here in just the past 3 months. We’ve had a total of 53 shows, with a total of 186 booths.

60 x 170 Sanyo Exhibit at CES

The CES Show took Las Vegas by storm this year with 21 jobs for David Davila (City Manager) and his crew to coordinate. The show took 85 men a total of 3,485 hours to install and dismantle.

Sho-Link set the Delphi booth from Exhibit Enterprises, which took 12 men 556 hours to set. Delphi also had a tent in the parking lot that presented some minor obstacles, such as high winds, which ripped the banner off the roof. However, the crew took action quickly and was able to have a replacement made and ready to install the next day.

Sho-Link also set the impressive 60 x 95 Cobra exhibit from Derse Exhibits. This booth was highlighted by massive hanging fabric graphics and was a real head turner. It took 8 men 267 hours to set.

The Sanyo exhibit from ICON Exhibits was a massive 60 x 170 display, which took 8 men 432 hours to install. Despite language barriers, the Sho-Link leads, Mike DeGiacomo and Jesse Reyna were able to ensure a smooth set-up and dismantle. Jesse’s connections with the general contractor helped expedite all aspects of the job.

“The installation and dismantle of the exhibit was incredibly efficient and were completed ahead of schedule and under budget,” raved Debbie Parrot, ICON Exhibits.

For the Shot Show, Sho-Link had 18 booths and a labor call of 55 men. The estimated total hours were 1933.

Chris Gettner, with Derse Las Vegas, again had a great presence on the show. With Benelli, Beretta, Stoeger and their affiliate companies, Chris utilized 25 men. Due to unforeseen circumstances, the crews at Benelli and Beretta worked around the clock putting in over 24 hours straight. Mike Haren and John Smith were able to have everything ready for show opening. “On Stoeger, Wes Weaver again showed why he was selected as Sho-Link’s Employee of the Year”, says West Coast Regional Operations Manager Larry Ciccotti.

Sho-Link handled Expon Exhibits’ 20 x 40 Chevron booth at the AS-3 show held in Las Vegas. With a 4-man crew led by Caleb Casella, Sho-Link was able to complete the booth set-up ahead of schedule.

Gene Winther, Expon Exhibits states, “Job well done to all, including Bill Redman and David Davila. Thanks for making my client’s show a good one.”
