Sho-Link members met for this year’s Owner’s Meeting at the Four Seasons Hotel in Las Vegas on March 25th in conjunction with the Exhibitors Show. Alan Scaccia, President of Sho-Link, spoke to the members regarding a broad range of topics from corporate updates and quality control to new member searches. Larry Ciccotti, Scott Rudel, Bob Michael and Rob West also presented to the Members. In conjunction with this meeting a Board of Directors meeting was held.
In November 2006 Sho-Link hired a new Vice President. Bob Michael joined the Sho-Link team, bringing with him 27 years of experience in the industry. Before coming to Sho-Link Bob worked with Freeman Decorating for 15 years as the Vice President of I&D Services. Prior to that he spent 8 years with I&D Incorporated (Nth Degree). When asked what he loves about the show floor Bob shared, “Every exhibit is important to the customer, and my satisfaction is in pleasing the customer.” Bob has a wife and a sixteen-year-old daughter. His wife works as a nurse and his daughter is pursuing a career in modeling. Bob’s interests include literature and computer technology. Please join Sho-Link in welcoming Bob.
Alicia Hernandez has been in the trade show industry for 17 years; the last 5 of those years she has been a dedicated employee and an extreme asset to the Sho-Link Las Vegas Team. Alicia has held multiple positions within Sho-Link starting as a carpenter, she was then promoted to labor supervisor and shortly thereafter to Show Floor Supervisor. Effective March 5, 2007 Alicia was promoted to Las Vegas Assistant City Manager. Sho-Link is confident that she will be a strong asset to the management team. When Alicia is not working she enjoys spending time with her 4 children and 3 grandchildren. She is also very athletic and enjoys running. She has participated in numerous 5K and 10K runs and has run in half and full marathons with trophies to show for it. Please join Sho-Link in congratulating Alicia on her promotion. |
