Excellence In Leadership

The Employee of the Year award for 2005 was presented to Wes Weaver out of Atlanta. Weaver has been in the trade show industry for twelve years, and a part of Sho-Link for the past five years as a traveling supervisor. When talking about the shows he participated in during 2005, he was quick to mention The Home Builders Show in Orlando, NBAA in Orlando, and the Magic Show in Las Vegas as the most memorable installs.

“Sho-Link is very family-like,” states Wes. “Everyone sticks together and there is a feeling of brotherhood and camaraderie.”

Scott Rudel, Vice President, relates, “It is a true pleasure having Wes as part of our traveling supervisor team. He sets a high standard for the rest of our employees to reach.”

Special awards were handed out to Las Vegas and Chicago employees. In Chicago, Mike Degiacomo received the Most Requested Leadman award, Mike Darland one for Best Teamwork, and Gino Kopel for Excellence in Leadership.

Las Vegas award recipients were Jesse Reyna for Las Vegas Employee of the Year, Danny Mode for Most Improved Employee of the Year, Richard Poling, Jr. for Most Outstanding Apprentice, Alicia Hernandez for Most Outstanding Paperwork, and the four employees who were Most Requested were Aaron Landry, Gavin Landry, Larry Siers, and Alicia Hernandez.

Congratulations to all Sho-Link employees for an excellent 2005 and best wishes for 2006.
