Sho-Link
took on the Chicago Historical Museum project from Design and
Productions in early May 2006, and it has turned out to be quite a
challenge.
The exhibit space is approximately 16,000 square feet, located in
the Lincoln Park neighborhood of Chicago. It has required up to a 16
man labor call working 8-12 hours per shift and is expected to
continue construction through the end of February 2007.
Headed by Jon Flodstrom, a
Sho-Link
lead supervisor, the crew also consists of David O’Keffe, Mike
DeGiacomo, Craig Pulkownik, Craig Young, Tony Boerema, Mike Darland,
Joe Kiaulakis, Tom Rinderer, Scott Jozefowicz and Jim MacNamara.
Libby Mahoney of the Chicago History Museum raves, “You and your
crew did a fantastic job of installing the Chicago History Exhibition.
My colleagues and I were quite impressed by
Sho-Link’s
professionalism, hard work, and dedication. The crew’s positive
reaction to the exhibition was very rewarding. I enjoyed their
comments and talking with them about Chicago. One of them said
‘Chicago has a rich history. We have a lot to be proud about.’ Indeed!
Thanks for everything.”
