At the 2006
Sho-Link
City Manager’s Meeting a new program was born; The Nimlok Task Force,
which has been put in place in order to improve the show floor
experience for our Nimlok customers and distributors by producing a
set of guidelines for all parties to follow in order to communicate
all necessary information from its starting point in the warehouse to
the labor crew on the show floor.
The people involved in this project are Ken Broadbent
(Corporate), Jean Keefe (Corporate), Terry Hogan (Sho-Link,
Chicago), Don Dubro (Sho-Link,
San Francisco, Ryan Barlow (Sho-Link,
Las Vegas) Steve Alibone (Sho-Link,
Orlando) and Joe O’Reilly (Sho-Link,
Atlanta). Ken, Jean and Terry went to Nimlok Corporate in August of
2006 to further discuss the outline of the proposed guidelines.
The focus of the guidelines covers the whole process from filling
out the
Sho-Link
order form with all necessary information to the packing instructions
at the end of the show. It goes into extreme detail regarding setup
instructions, electrical layouts and freight information.
Both Nimlok and
Sho-Link
feel confident that this program, will indeed “Improve the client’s
experience on the show floor.”
