Despite excellent planning on the part of Jamie Kitchen, Logistics Coordinator with Derse Exhibits, Corey Connor, Sho-Link’s Washington, D.C. City Manager, noticed some containers marked “Property of Derse” that had been sitting on the receiving deck all morning. He also noticed that the individual cases had not been labeled properly. Corey notified Sho-Link Vice President, Scott Rudel, who notified Jamie Kitchen of the situation. Per discussions with Jamie, Corey personally labeled each piece and assured that all pieces had been accounted for. “This is a great example of going above and beyond!” raved Jamie. “Corey’s attention to detail and pro-active approach to the situation may have prevented a disaster from happening! Corey was very nonchalant about the whole situation and simply stated that it was his job to notice such things. I don’t know if there is anyway to thank him enough.” Account Executive Jann Taylor agreed, “Thanks to the pro-activeness…we avoided potential crisis.” Randy Thompson commented, “I am going to use this when I train our employees to illustrate the level of customer service that all of us need to strive for. Good job Sho-Link!” “This is an excellent example of going above and beyond,” stated Sho-Link President, Alan Scaccia.
In a special message from Regional Operations Manager, Larry Ciccotti, words of appreciation are expressed for David Davila and Victor Tadefa. “I would like to commend David Davila, his staff and his crew on the exceptional job they did in May,” states Ciccotti. “David accepted the challenge and the position of Las Vegas City Manager. His efforts and subsequent success was admirable. David showed leadership and a team attitude.” John Fisher, Southwest Displays & Events, commented, “David was always there, he never once said no to a request. He provided exceptional service with a great attitude.” “I concur with John,” continues Ciccotti. “David is a bright spot in Sho-Link’s future. He and his group should be proud for a job well done.” Regarding another employee, Ciccotti relates, “One of the most enjoyable conversations I have each week is with Victor Tadefa. Victor’s positive attitude and his sense of humor are refreshing.”
Relating Victor’s recent accomplishments, “Victor and his crew
have recently completed a show with one of the largest labor calls we
have had in San Antonio. Victor and his crew had great success.
Congratulations!” |
