This year’s MRO Show took place in Atlanta, GA at the Cobb Galleria Centre, April 18th-19th, 2007. Sho-Link was responsible for 6 booths at this show, one of which was a first time set with first time challenges as well as first time triumphs. There were 14 Sho-Link crew members working this two day install and with their persistence and hard work it was a successful one. One of the initial challenges that Sho-Link faced was the unusual start times for the days of installation. In order to start at 8:00am, Sho-Link had to get permission from show management. The Heico Aerospace booth, a 20x30 exhibit from Derse was a new set this year and presented some small set backs as the crew and the client learned the booth set up. But the end result was well received and the show was a triumph for the client.
The MIL booth, a 10x10 from Nimlok, once installed was found to have insufficient lighting. Sho-Link jumped to the task of finding, obtaining and then installing additional lighting, making for a victorious show for the client. The Aircraft Ducting Repair booth, also a 10x10 from Nimlok, was a new booth for this particular client. The Sho-Link team responsible for this set worked with the clients, instructing them on the installation of their booth so that in the future they would be able to handle it themselves; again showing our commitment to providing the best customer service you can find on the show floor.
Also, Sho-Link was able to keep the installation and dismantle of the Triumph booth, a Nimlok set, under budget for this show by working fast and efficiently using their training and expertise. According to Sho-Link City Manager, Joe O’Reilly, the clients all seemed pleased with their booths and the show. Says O’Reilly, “Even though we were thrown a couple of curve-balls, the installation and dismantle went well. We especially enjoyed being able to assist one of our clients in learning how to assemble and install their newly purchased Nimlok booth.” |
