Simon Perutz, President of Nimlok, announces the formation of Nimlok Graphic Design, a new service that will provide Nimlok distributors the convenience of having their exhibit graphics designed and created by Nimlok’s team of in-house graphic designers. “With the creation of Nimlok Graphic Design, we’re adding a significant new service for customers who are currently buying their exhibit graphic needs from a variety of vendors,” explains Perutz. “This additional capability contributes to our endeavor to be the premier one-stop, turnkey provider for our distributors and their exhibit design staff, and ultimately their customers, our end-users.” Previously, when Nimlok distributors needed graphic design support for their customers, they worked with advertising or marketing agencies to create the artwork and accompanying files. This collateral would be provided to Nimlok for exhibit and display usage. With Nimlok’s Graphic Design business, their internal team of graphic designers can now work side-by-side with the exhibit builders and design staff every step of the way to ensure the integrity of the project and a more perfected end product for our clients. “By creating the graphics internally from start to finish, we can better control the design process, improve efficiencies and save time,” says Perutz. “We are generating the files so we know that all the specifications are correct.” Nimlok Graphic Design service was launched October 1, 2004, in Orange County, Chicago, Philadelphia, New York City, Miami, and Grand Rapids, with rollout to all distributors nationally and internationally anticipated soon.
Sho-Link member Exhibit Enterprises, Inc. (EEI) formally broke ground at the location of its new corporate headquarters in Rochester Hills. EEI President and CEO Derek Gentile was joined by Rochester Hills Mayor Pat Somerville and Oakland County Deputy Executive Ken Rogers in the shovel ceremony outside the new facility located at 1400 South Livernois Road. EEI purchased and existing facility on a 25-acre corporate campus, but is investing in new, customized, architecture for the facility, which includes a new lobby entrance and raising 30,000 square feet of the roof over the production area by twelve feet. “We’ve expanded our capabilities to meet the growing needs of our clientele, so it’s becoming increasingly important that all of our services are located under one roof,” said Gentile. “Our new location in Rochester Hills provides us with the necessary space to accommodate this need, as well as the ability for additional expansion longer-term.”
The new campus will allow EEI to consolidate the multiple
requirements of its business onto one single site. In addition to
executive sales and design functions, the main facility will also
house production and warehousing. EEI plans to occupy the building in
late 2004. |
