Recently Terry Hogan, Chicago Assistant City Manager, traveled to Anaheim, California to supervise the installation and dismantling of the CookTek booth at the NAFEM show. Usually Terry travels to Anaheim to assist with NAMM show in January, but this year he was sent at the request of Ben Moore from Derse Exhibits. Moore wanted to make the transition between the previous account manager and himself as smooth as possible for the client. Remembering that Terry used to set up this booth for this account, and that he has a good repertoire with the client, Moore asked Paul Raffanti, Chicago City Manager, if Terry could help out on the project. Paul agreed at once and added, “It is our job to assist Derse Exhibits whenever we can.” Vice President Scott Rudel gave the final approval and stated that, “Terry is an example of the support, strength and knowledge that we offer our members.” The project was a great success. According to Ben Moore, “The crew…couldn’t have been more pro-active, hard-working, and diligent in virtually all aspects of the job. Special kudos go to Larry Johnson, who tackled every challenge with thoughtful and innovative solutions, and personified the work ethic of the entire crew. I would also like to thank Terry Hogan for his help supervising the set.”
The EDPA Foundation and EACA hosted the 11th Annual Randy Smith Memorial Golf Classic October 10th in Atlanta. The event’s purpose is to help families in the exhibition industry who have suffered severe tragedies or insurmountable medical expenses. This year Sho-Link’s Brian Nikrasch is among the recipients. Nikrasch, a Sho-Link carpenter in Chicago, was involved in a serious accident, causing injuries that have left him paralyzed from the chest down.
All of us at
Sho-Link
want to extend sincere gratitude to RSMGC for including Brian Nikrasch
as one of the recipients. Thank you to all of the participants in this
event for your support. |
